As a community, we have been working with engineering firm Crafton Tull to develop a long-term master plan for Searcy. Through community surveys, focus groups, public meetings and walk-audits, we have collected feedback in order to develop the plan. Earlier this year the plan was presented to the community at a public meeting held at the Carmichael Center. Since that time, Crafton Tull, Polk Stanley Wilcox and Crews & Associates have been working with the City to develop an implementation plan. That implementation plan was presented to the City Council on December 7, 2023. Click here to learn more about that presentation.

Steering Committees

In addition to the public surveys and meetings, steering committees were formed for each of the three areas of focus.
